The one thing that is 100% characteristic of Arachova is the Parnassos Ski Resort, just 45 km from the picturesque village. The largest and best organized ski resort in the country is open to the public from December to May (weather permitting) and is located at an altitude of 1,600-2,250 meters. It opened in 1976 and has two sites, one in Fterolaka and one in Kelaria.

In total, Parnassos ski resort has 19 pistes (14 of which are certified by the International Ski Federation for international ski tournaments), 7 ski trails, 10 trails and 3 mini runs as well as 12 off-piste routes for the more adventurous. Generally, the length of the downhill run starts at 50 meters and reaches up to 4 km and has options for different skill levels.

There is a ski and snowboard school, equipment rental shops, a restaurant and two chalet cafes, storage facility and a specially designed playground for visitors on site. Kelaria operates a maintenance shop for skis and snowboards and provides free medical assistance in case of accident.
