Today it's called Polydrosos but until 1928 it was known as Souvala. This ideal destination for all seasons is located approximately 38 km from Arachova. A trip here can be perfectly combined with an excursion to Agoriani.
Alternatively, you can always visit it during a day trip to the villages of Parnassos starting from the cosmopolitan Arachova. Built at the foot of the mountain at an altitude of 380 meters, it is characterized by its central square with the sycamore trees, cafes and quaint taverns as well as the triple stone fountain.
A suggested route, even on foot, is to the springs of Agia Eleousa (20 minutes on foot), a place with running water and countless trees. On the way, stop at the Paliopanagia church, which dates back to the second half of the 6th century.
Ano Polydrosos (7 km from Polydrosos), is located among a lush green pine forest, boasts restored houses and cozy guesthouses and is undoubtedly worth a visit.
