Day 1

Begin your day early in the morning with a visit to Athens' landmarks, the Acropolis and the new Acropolis Museum (you will need at least 2 hours here). Then enjoy coffee in the museum cafe-restaurant with its beautiful view. Continue with a lovely walk on Dionysiou Areopagitou pedestrian Street and to the Ancient Agora. Wander through the narrow streets of Plaka and the open-air market in Monastiraki. You can stop at the ever-crowded Dioskouroi cafe for coffee or ouzo with nibbles, or anything else that might take your fancy. Continue your walk to the neighborhood of Psiri. Walk along Pittaki Street, which is beautiful thanks to its lighting and artworks by various artists that decorate it. Continue your day with cocktails at A for Athens, and in the afternoon go shopping and for an aperitif in Kolonaki. In the evening make a reservation at a restaurant of your choice. You can find vibrant nightlife in the city center in the lively area of Gazi, the cosmopolitan Kolonaki, the alternative Karitsi Square and the up-and-coming Agias Eirinis Square. If you still have the energy, you can experience the true meaning of Greek nightlife in the "bouzoukia" on Iera Odos (if you wish to follow a program from the beginning, you should make a reservation).

Day 2

Enjoy coffee in Kolonaki and combine it with a visit to the Cycladic Art Museum or the ever-crowded Syntagma Square. Opposite is the Parliament building which you are certain to admire. Do not miss the changing of the guards of evzones, once every hour. If you like the arts, you should pay a visit to the Contemporary Art Museum. Your next destination will be Flisvos Marina where you can enjoy a walk by the sea. You can then head for the cosmopolitan area of Glyfada by tram. Young people fill the central streets all day long for coffee, shopping, lunch or simply walks. You can enjoy lunch here in one of the numerous and varied eateries in the area (e.g. Vincenzo, Tartare, Hama) or go to Mikrolimano for fresh fish. End your day at Piraeus Sailing Club and enjoy a cocktail and, of course, a view to the sea!

Day 3

Your day will begin perfectly with a walk in the green area of Zappeion Mansion and the National Gardens! Continue with an educational visit to the “Hellenic Cosmos” Cultural Centre; the show we recommend is “Tour in Ancient Athens”. If you like museums, you can continue to the center and visit the most significant museums in the city, such as the Archaeological Museum on Tositsa Street, the Industrial Museum in Gazi etc. In the afternoon you should head north by metro. Make a stop at the Athens Olympic Athletic Center (OAKA) and wander round the area where the biggest part of the 2004 Olympic Games took place! Your next stop is Kifissia. Enjoy unique flavors in the variety of eateries on offer here. If you want something different Telemachos restaurant is a very good choice. You can continue your night in the ever-crowded Bellini, and afterwards head for the neighboring area of Halandri, which has become the nightlife spot of the year!
