Day 1

Begin your day at the Acropolis archaeological site and the Acropolis Museum on Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, where you will need at least 2-3 hours. Then, enjoy coffee and delicious snacks at the cafe on 3, Makrygianni Street. The National Gardens and the Zappeion Mansion are a short distance away, should you wish to take a walk before heading toward the historical center. Continue the romantic mood on Dionysiou Areopagitou Street exploring the treasures of the city, such as the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, the Ancient Agora etc. Then, wander through the narrow streets of Plaka, Monastiraki with its open-air market (beware of thieves), as well as Psiri. If you want a break for coffee, Zonar's cafe   is famous for its romantic atmosphere. Alternatively, you can enjoy a soft drink etc at City Zen. The view from here is truly breathtaking! Continue your walk on Ermou Street, the most commercial street in the city; the shopping options are truly endless here! You will then come across one of the most popular squares in the city, Agias Eirinis Square. School Pizza Bar is a value-for-money option and you will certainly be rewarded with its delicious menu and the great cocktails prepared by Giannis Korovesis. Continue to Karitsi Square, which is five minutes away, and have fun in the streets where the bars are lined up next to one another!

Day 2

Your first stop is the central Syntagma Square. Say “good-morning” to the guards at the Parliament building and take a photo! The changing of the guards is a spectacle you can only see in Athens, so do not miss it! Then, why not take a walk in the green areas of the city center? Filopappou Hill is among the places with the best views and also ideal for a romantic walk. Buy a take-away coffee and enjoy your walk peacefully and relaxed. Walk down to the neighboring Kolonaki, the former area of the elite which has maintained its cosmopolitan and artistic character. You can spend endless hours here, shopping and window-shopping, drinking coffee and cocktails in nice cafe bars, or wine in fine wine bars, as well as dine in excellent restaurants. You can also get something light to eat and continue your visit to the neighboring museums, such as the Museum of Cycladic Art, the War Museum etc. Take the metro to the northern suburbs and visit the most aristocratic area of the city, Kifissia. The choices are endless here: take a ride in an old horse carriage, visit the various restaurants and bars and window-shop in classy boutiques and traditional corners. If you like places with delicious food, a cozy atmosphere and quality service, Artisanal is one of the best options, located in the center of the area.

Day 3

Your last day should be more relaxing. What about going for a swim, sunbathing and doing water sports at Astir Beach? If you wish, you can organize a visit to Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon in the evening and enjoy one of the most fascinating sights you have ever seen! End your day with fresh fish at one of the local taverns or take a taxi to Glyfada, which has plenty of options for food and entertainment. The best choices are Vicenzo for traditional Italian cuisine and ARK, which is famous for its mediterranean cuisine.
