Barrio Restaurant Bar, the culinary reference point of Gazi area and the wider Athens centre, is housed in the exquisite corner building at 10 Triptolemou and 24 Eumolpidon Streets.
The menu dishes include daily fresh salads, such as salad with cherry tomatoes, Tsalafouti cheese from Karpenisi, barley rusks from Chania, olives and capers, delicious appetizers, such as quinoa with homemade marinated salmon, tomato, chives and lime aroma, favourite Greek and other Mediterranean recipes, like orzo pasta with fennel and marinated shrimp, linguini with veal ragout and xinomyzithra from Crete, and delicious desserts.
The award-winning bartender Vasilis Kyritsis has created a list of unique cocktails exclusively for Barrio Restaurant Bar. They are the ideal choice for your meal, but they can also be enjoyed before or after eating. They combine short stories, playing with the palate and the senses. Especially thought-out is the wine list featuring wines from the Greek vineyards as well as the list of drinks and cocktails.
Barrio Restaurant Bar spreads into three levels, each one separated and different from the others. Its style is industrial, with warm wood, soft colour accents and ambient lighting. It features quality furniture and design objects, while its walls are decorated with large posters depicting various beautiful neighbourhoods of the world and classic artists’ figures.
On the ground floor, you will find a large bar and tables with sofas. On the middle level, a Prive Dinning Room has been created, with a single large table and its own exclusive service. Barrio’s Roof Garden is a wonderful space that is secured with glass during winter. With its own bar and great view, it is truly the heart of the restaurant.
