On Gyftopoulou Street in Halandri, Big Mouth opens where the legendary Blue Bar "raised" generations and generations, keeping some references of the old beloved space. Two floors, a courtyard and a rooftop terrace come to be included in the favourite meeting points of those who love places with character.
Now, more renovated than ever, this all-day hangout welcomes us with a new interior design edited by Nine Design Company, as well as a new super tasty menu. Giannis Arapakopoulos has created a menu that faithfully serves the comfort food philosophy, whose proposals are ideally accompanied with a cocktail or a beverage of your choice.
From the must-try of the menu, we stood out the Whore Dog (their own hearty version of the hot dog with village style 'horiatiko' sausage and fluffy bread), the BBQ Pulled Pork and the Pizza Prosciutto. Don’t forget to round off your meal with the New Orlean's Brownie. From the cocktail list created by Stathis Psilias, we loved the Bustard that "matches" perfectly with the Whore Dog, while its Bloody Mary, with handmade chili syrup, is simply irresistible.
At its entrance, there are outdoor tables which is exactly what you need for a sunny breakfast, the renovated first floor with the tropical vibes gives the leading role to the bar, while on the first floor there is also a charming jazz bar that only opens every Friday and Saturday night to introduce you to black music under a scene that changes completely.
Its beautiful rooftop terrace will open in May.
