Black Duck Garden
Black Duck Garden

Black Duck Garden-Athens City Museum Bistrot in the garden of the Museum of the City of Athens in Klafthmonos Square, a stone's throw from Panepistimio metro station is the ideal spot to spend time in the center of Athens, as well as get away from the hustle and bustle.

The revival of the garden of the Dekozi Vourou residence takes you back in time to when King Otto married 18-year old, Amalia. Back then, the villa's garden was the first public garden in Athens, which had four entrances, a fountain and a well.

Today you can visit it anytime of the day for coffee, food or wine with friends and have a great time in an especially relaxing environment in the heart of the city. If you come for a lunch break, try the risotto with a variety of mushrooms and aromatic porcini, spaghetti with meatballs and mint and ouzo sauce, grilled fillet of fresh yellow fin tuna with vegetable couscous or simply enjoy your favourite wine with one of the Greek cheeses.
