Stunning cafe bar-restaurant in Nimfon square in Glyfada combining urban design and natural elements. Blends opened in September 2017 and stood out from the beginning by offering multiple all day long suggestions that match any kind of mood.
The first thing that will draw your attention as you enter the venue is the olive tree planted in the middle of the bar. The Molindris+Associates architects have paid attention to the smallest details and used mainly earth tones for its decor.
If you visit Blends in the morning, you should head to the specially designed espresso bar to enjoy unique beverages supervised by the famous barista Nikos Filippis. It also serves all the classic coffee blends by Illy, as well as some additional blends, like the cold brew coffee, which is made with coffee beans from Ethiopia, and an espresso blend from Guatemala which is ideal for hot and cold beverages.
Its meticulous menu, signed by chef Kostas Lolas, is based on Mediterranean cuisine recipes, with distinct international references, and focuses on meat. Some of the menu’s highlights are the beef fillet with marinated egg yolk in salt, parmesan, chips & balsamic vinegar caviar, the ravioli with ricotta cheese, pecorino sauce, Iberico ham and poached egg and the aged Tomahawk steak grilled in josper oven.
Its intriguing wine list, supervised by sommelier Alexandros Papadopoulos, includes labels from the Greek and the international vineyards that complement ideally your order.
The fun takes off as the sun goes down at Blends’ striking bar which serves delightful signature cocktails, supervised by the bar leader Mirsini Spaneli. We urge you to sample the Milano Fashioned, the FB Emerald and the Osby Americano.
