Although located in the heart of Kolonaki, at the intersection of Irodotou and Kapsali Street, Chez Michel takes you to... Paris, with its impressive interior that brings to mind a cafe of another era. Its decor was designed by the interior designer Sissy Feida, who created a warm and hospitable environment that has established it as a favourite all day hangout. It is no coincidence that the public in Kolonaki, lawyers, doctors, journalists etc., meet here for coffee, lunch break or wine/drink.
This all-day cafe- bistrot is ideal for your first coffee of the day –Kimbo 100% Arabica of exceptional quality– accompanied by snacks prepared in Chez Michel. Butter or chocolate croissants, great variety of fresh sandwiches (with brioche, ciabatta or Zea bread) and homemade desserts -best sellers include lemon pie, blueberry or wild cherry cheesecake, tatin tart with caramelised apples- will certainly tempt you.
Stars of the menu are the Mediterranean cuisine proposals with international trends. Ask the staff (polite and extremely helpful) to inform you about the dish of the day (sea bass, salmon, etc.), which changes on a daily basis.
At night the space becomes more atmospheric with jazz (mostly) tunes perfectly complementing the scenery where you will enjoy your drink. In fact, every Thursday and Saturday a DJ graces its deck, while Fridays are dedicated to different bands that travel you with their live jazz, blues, tango, swing, flamenco etc. music.
Round off your outing with any of the suggestions on the cocktail list, which undoubtedly steals the show with its inspired cocktails made with high quality ingredients for enjoyable moments that will be truly unforgettable
Chez Michel can easily be described as wine- bar as it features 21 labels in bottle, 7 of which are served in a glass.
