The new meat lovers’ haunt in Kifissia is called De Sxara and was created by the successful team behind Zambri. The cozy and neat venue –Dimitris Kiklis, one of the owners, supervised personally the decor– is dominated by a roof with elaborate cupolas made of ropes.
Worth mentioning is also its open cellar which houses more than 50 wine labels, mostly from Greek vineyards.
Here you will have the opportunity to sample premium quality meat dishes that stand out for their exquisite presentation. Note that most of the dishes are prepared in a special grill which adds a smoky aftertaste to the raw ingredients.
The menu, signed by chef Stavros Skarpinakis, includes all kinds of meat, from yummy chicken kontosouvli and beef skirt, to 33 months aged strip steak, American T-Bone, beef burger De Sxara 600 gr (iceberg, tomato, homemade BBQ sauce, bacon and cheddar) and Japanese Wagyu.
You can order on the side the fresh potato chips castle with various cheeses, bacon and Parmesan cream or a stuffed potato with chicken apaki, cheeses and herbs.
Finally its menu has also exquisite deserts, such as the mamas tsoureki filled with praline and vanilla Madagascar, the orange pie and the kazan dipi, as well as meticulous cocktails.
