In 2014 the famous F/B Taxidevontas seafood restaurant in Keratsini “sister” opened in a tranquil neighbourhood of Nea Erythraia, and was appropriately named F/B Taxidevontas… North. The recipe for success remains the same focusing on fresh fish and seafood, qualitative raw ingredients and Greek flavours and scents.
It serves daily fresh fish straight from the collaborating fishermen’s nets, which are cooked following the very basic recipes passed on by friendly captains, in order to bring out the freshness and the exquisite taste of the selective raw ingredients.
Its rich menu includes big and small fish, an updated range of fresh mussels and specially cooked dishes. All these feature will entice you to come over again and again.
Dishes that are consistently among the top choices of its patrons include Nondas octopus (based on a captain’s recipe from the Cyclades), seashell salad (steamed fruits of the sea with wine, garlic and parsley) and sea urchin salad (carefully selected sea urchin eggs with olive oil and lemon, accompanied with crunchy bread), cuttlefish rise (fresh small urchins in their ink with brown rice, tomato, onion and full of flavor herbs), prawns from Symi, excellent smoked eel or mackerel, king prawns from the Ambrakikos Bay, pasta with small shrimps or botargo pasta and fresh squid stuffed with feta cheese, herbs and semi-dried tomato.
You can complement your order with one of the 80 unique and selected ouzo and tsipouro labels from all over Greece and conclude your tasting experience.
