Frankie is the newest member of the Nice n Easy restaurant group. With a distinct gastronomical identity influenced by the Italian restaurants in New York it has already become a favourite haunt for the foodies of Kolonaki.
Housed in an historical building on Skoufa street, built prior to 1930, it stands out for its rustic decor, the nostalgic vintage ambience and the warm colours supervised by the architect Dimitra Korompili and the designer Spyros Kontakis.
In the morning it serves aromatic coffee and beverages. The menu includes Italian snacks and antipasti. fresh handmade pasta, prepared right in front of you, meat dishes, bread and pizza made with sourdough and organic flour, many gluten free and lactose free options and various cold cuts. Its wine list offers a wide variety of Greek and Italian labels.
Some of the top suggestions in the menu are the burrata with tomato, red arugula and pine nuts, the creamy pasta Carbonara, the pizza Prosciutto di Parma with arugula, parmesan and truffle oil and the Tagliata Black Angus with baby arugula and horseradish.
The preparation of the dishes included in the menu, which is signed by the executive chef Christos Athanasiou and the chef de cuisine Panagiotis Moises, follows to the letter the Nice n Easy restaurants farm-to-table philosophy, which mandates the exclusive use of fresh material and organic raw ingredients.
