Garbi, one of the most notable and famous restaurants of Attica, has been operating since 1924. Today, the grandchildren of the founder Petros Garbis, Elissavet Louizou and Pavlos Kosmopoulos, are at the helm of the family business.
Consistently maintaining and respecting the tradition of its successful operation, the current owners give special emphasis on fish, for which the restaurant is famous from the beginning of its operation.
Its unpretentious and quite sophisticated space awaits you by the sea to try the freshest fish that arrives daily from the fishermen of Leros. The exquisite proposals of the menu include the Garbi specialty (squid, octopus, clams, shrimp with tarragon sauce), the traditional, homemade smoked eggplant salad, the sea bass ceviche, the crayfish meat and the seafood orzo pasta.
Apart from its great location that features unobstructed views to the Saronic Gulf, it also boasts an up-to-date wine list with fine labels from the Greek vineyards, which are enhanced by some great labels from the French vineyards.
Don't forget to try the baklava ice cream with Beirut phyllo, which is highly popular!
