Koukounari restaurant was created to offer an honest meal with Greek flavours in their most modern version, and it has done a very good job so far as those who have visited it appreciate it above and beyond.

On the well-established Holargos (a few steps from the eponymous metro station), it features a minimal, cosy and elegant environment without excesses, where you are the protagonist along with the tasty suggestions, which mostly revolve around meat

Made with selected raw ingredients and with insistence on quality, its dishes are served in generous portions, which is not reflected in their price, as its value for money philosophy has already established it as the delicious locale of the region.

You will visit it for its famous pork shank -the menu’s best seller– on a crisp crust, braised for 8 hours in the hull, the braised veal with sundried tomatoes, mushrooms in couscous, the chicken kontosouvli, the striftaria with rooster cooked in wine, the homemade zucchini balls, the fresh potato chips, the fried eggs and grated gruyere cheese and the eggplant patties

The wine list is updated with more than 60 selected labels exclusively from the Greek vineyard, to choose the one that meets your culinary choices.
