Inspired, international cuisine with a menu edited by the famous French chef Alain Parodi awarded with 1 Michelin star. This is the key feature of Mikaello restaurant, that since March 2016, when it opened in Glyfada, has managed to gather the most positive impressions.
With an emphasis on quality, it was created is to take you on a mental journey to various countries of the world, through the flavours of each cuisine. The menu boasts juicy burgers and the authentic Italian pizza, while it also features special and thought-out suggestions like Rib Eye Black Angus etc.
Burger lovers will try the most sophisticated dishes they have ever imagined, such as the Mikaello –a very special dish that you will only find here– with fresh bread from cuttlefish ink that gives a black colour to it (all bread are made on site), whole small crab, homemade wasabi mayonnaise and wakame salad or the Red Moussaka burger with red tomato bread, Black Angus minced meat, green cheese (coloured with fresh basil), mashed eggplant and béchamel sauce and parmesan on top. Overall, the menu features 11 different choices in burgers, without missing the vegetarian ones. Note that all buns are prepared in Mikaello, and that the burgers are kneaded in its kitchen.
However, if you are fans of Italian cuisine, the Italian style pizzas that come out from the stone oven, will surely satisfy your taste requirements. The Peperoncini pizza with roasted red peppers, chorizo, pine nuts and gorgonzola cheese and the Black Parma pizza –the dough is made with carob powder so it has a dark brown colour– with fresh pesto (the ingredients come from the restaurant's garden), cherry tomatoes and prosciutto will certainly be included in your favourites. Note that all pizzas are served with handmade blend of four cheeses, while you can also choose your favourite ingredients.
You can accompany your choices with any of the wines from the up-to-date wine list with labels from the international vineyards (French & Italian) and the Greek vineyard or any of the cocktails from the interesting cocktail list which is edited by Alexis Panagiotopoulos.
