Pepe’s Bar is a well-established haunt in the popular Tsakalof pedestrian street in Kolonaki and an excellent all day suggestion.
This imposing venue is meticulously decorated with marble tables, leather sofas and ambient lights. Both the tables out in the bustling pedestrian street and inside are usually filled with people who love Kolonaki.
Chef Nikos Kontomarkos has supervised the creation of a menu with references to the Mediterranean cuisine which raises the bar. We suggest you try truffle pizza with truffles and pecorino romano, Black Angus burger with cheddar, bacon-onion chutney, truffle mayo and smashed baby potatoes, salmon fillet with sautéed vegetables, black venere rice and tomato glaze, and Angus beef fillet with truffle puree, sautéed mushrooms and red wine sauce.
Pepe’s Bar is ideal for an after office drink or a night out. Head bartender Anastasios Plessas has created an interesting cocktail list with signature suggestions. Pink Winter Champagne (champagne, freshly squeezed grape juice, fresh pomegranate), Pepe Red (rum, champagne, strawberries’ pulp, lime juice, sugar) and Rouge Spritz (Aperol slow cooked with raspberries, lime drops, splash of Hendricks Gin, top up with pink grapefruit soda) stand out and will make you a regular.
