Stoffa restaurant in Kifissia has been housed on a historic building since March 2013, the same one that once housed the Tsalavouta brothers' taverna for a number of years. It owes its name to the literal meaning of the word "Stoffa" (a traditional wood fire oven) and in the metaphorical sense, it refers to the special qualities of a person or group of people.

Radically changing its philosophy, Stoffa is a modern restaurant with pop elements, old school pieces and traditional furniture, which gives emphasis to modern Greek, creative cuisine with Mediterranean touches.

The delicious, tasty result is reflected in all the suggestions of the menu, from which the mousse with Katiki cheese from Domokos wrapped in grilled zucchini and sweet and sour tomato jam flavoured with ginger, mint and green Madagascar pepper, the lamb shank fricassee cooked for 12 hours with hartworts and wild chicory stand out.

Separate on Stoffa’s menu is the “Josper” category, which owes its name to the unique wooden oven that combines the uniqueness of a traditional Spanish oven with cooking on the grill, giving a very special flavour to the meat. In this category, we find options like the large steak with black Hawaiian salt, the 300gr Tagliata with arugula salad, sun dried tomatoes, parmesan cheese and sauteed potatoes, the Picanha 300gr Black Angus with butter vegetables and flower of salt, the Rib Eye 300gr with roast corn and crunchy salad, etc.

A lunch/dinner at Stoffa would never be complete, however, if it lacked some of its delicious sweets. Istanbul ekmek with brioche flavoured with mastic, cherry spoon with ice cream, mousse rice pudding flavoured with mastic and chocolate crouton, and Banoffee with caramelized hazelnuts and hot bitter chocolate sauce are some of your choices that will definitely put you in... sweet temptation!


On sunny days, the lush green garden at the entrance hosts guests for dining and cocktails (signature cocktails from the menu and unexpected inspirations by the mixologist will satisfy even the most demanding ones), while the secret backyard opens its doors for enjoyable summer evenings.
