With "Home is where your heart is beating" as its motto, Su Casa in Glyfada welcomes you in its cosy and welcoming "home" in a restored house of the 50s at Nymfon Square.
Breathing life to a beautiful building, this all day bar-restaurant combines the old with the new, managing to make you feel as if at home in its sophisticated and elegant premises. It should be noted that George Polydorou, the owner, comes from the fields of architecture and has extensive experience in designing and setting up restaurants.
Su Casa features two levels that stand out for their warmth and coziness, it boasts a terrace and vintage decorative touches and aspires to be your favourite meeting point in Glyfada –if it isn’t already– both for coffee or shopping break with friends, and for business meetings or lunch/dinner.
At Su Casa the day begins with aromatic coffee and a hearty breakfast (omelette with egg whites and spinach or asparagus and the unique burger that is a must). At noon you can have a light business lunch from a menu consisting of comfort food suggestions, while in the evening the venue becomes more ambient and the torch is passed to dinner card, which includes high quality and exquisite dishes bearing the signature of the talented chef Dionysis Papanikolaou.
The dishes that stand out include the salad with grape, ricotta and mango sorbet dressing, tuna carpaccio, linguini with crab leg, the royal scallops, the octopus with fava, the sole fillet, the shrimp asparagus and the beef fillet. You should definitely try the menu’s desserts like the unique, homemade ice cream, with tahini flavour being our favourite, the crispy millefeuille and the exquisite chocolate souffle!
As time goes by, the easy listening music accompanying your dinner pass the torch to mainstream, house, funky sounds, with the cocktails by Giannis Chatziargyros starring in your choices.
