The frogs from Aristophanes’ comedy, walking the alleys of Psiri, have found their new hangout, The Frogs. In a neoclassical building of 1840, these charming amphibians relax from the intense vibes of the city.
Joyful and optimistic by nature, they hop from the impressive ground floor, which houses the main bar, on the terrace of the second floor to enjoy the warm summer afternoons, overlooking the Acropolis and the urban landscape. In the evenings, they return downstairs and opt for the tables outside to indulge in a relaxing drink. When they feel the irresistible desire to party, they go back to the main bar, where the musical choices of resident and guest DJs raise the roof. Finally, they never fail to visit the first-floor hall, where they organize private events, birthday parties or lough out loud with stand-up comedy shows.
Always demanding on their savoury quests, the frogs enjoy classic recipes as well as bold signature cocktails and do not hesitate to try the suggestions of the experienced bartenders. For the classic gin maniacs, we stood out the refreshing Bubble Basil, for rum lovers the Infidelity with pistachio syrup and orange liqueur, and for the brave tequila fans, the spicy Quatro with passion fruit, chili syrup and gingerbread.
There is also a brand-new menu with healthy salads and light sandwiches as well as Greek cheese and cold cut platters that perfectly accompany the wine list.
No wonder the neighbourhood of Psiri came alive again, the frogs, loyal to their new hangout, daily swarm about Aristofanous Street!
