The “little brother” of our beloved Warehouse in Exarchia made its appearance between Syntagma and Plaka in early April. With a concept that follows the philosophy of the already successful hangout on Mavromichali Street, Warehouse CO2 places particular emphasis on sparkling wines, quite obvious by its name, as well as premium choices.
At the new Warehouse CO2, you can choose from a wide variety of sparkling wines by the glass and bottles from vineyards around the world. Your choices include sparkling and semi-sparkling wines from the Greek vineyard, Prosecco, Moscato d'Asti and Franciacorta from Italy, Cava from Spain, champagnes from France, as well as sparkling wines with less expected origin, like England and Tasmania.
The still wines remain in the list of the new Warehouse CO2 but you will find them in more unique versions, such as magnum bottles, vintage labels and award-winning years.
Chef Vassilis Geogleris has had his creative hand in CO2 as well, with the menu including dishes accompanying wine with unexpected combinations, like burratta with trout eggs or ricotta with marinated anchovies, lemon and chili pesto. You will also find delicatessen products, like rare cheese and sausages, which are cut on site for eating or sold for home consumption.
As Warehouse CO2 is open from early in the morning, its menu also includes breakfast options to accompany your favourite coffee, which is roasted daily in Wisecup and comes from speciality and single origin coffees from around the world.
