On the paved Isodion Street below Chania cathedral, a fairy tale world opens before you. Ababa, a cafe that will appeal to your soft nature and awaken your senses is located on this quaint little street.
Colourful and cheerful, just like the owner, Dimitris, this will become your cherished hangout in one of the most beautiful towns in Greece. Jazz, swing and rock sounds, selected by the owner, can be heard in the magical Ababa (Spanish for poppy) world which go well with the originally named cocktails, inspired by the crisis! Try the ''Merkozin'' (rakomelo with orange), ''Memorandum 1'' (ouzo cherry) and ''Bankruptcy'' (raki with Tabasco, lemon and tomato juice).
The forever whimsical decor in the cafe is redone every season by the owner, Dimitris Asterios, who is also a painter.
