Among the new arrivals in the Old Port of Chania, Il Padrino made its appearance opposite Venetian lighthouse in the summer of 2015 to transfer you mentally in Italy, both with its delicious proposals and its unique environment.
With philosophy bearing influences from the "Godfather" –after all, its name means godfather– it has an exceptional aesthetics reminiscent of a courtyard of a mafia house (!), with antique furniture and chandeliers and stunning views of the beautiful Old Port.
The Italian chef and his team prepare with love dishes of traditional, Neapolitan cuisine in order to initiate you into its secrets in the most delicious way. From the menu (enriched with pasta, risotto, meat, fish, salads, and appetizers), the mussels with fennel and wine, the Italian pastitsada, the grilled shrimp, the Sicilian lobster pasta, the pizza with tomato, mozzarella, prosciutto and fresh arugula stand out.
The wine list consists of Italian and Cretan labels while on a daily basis fresh, homemade sweets are prepared.
