Milia is a restored village in the heart of the western part of the prefecture, 54 km from the center of Chania town. It was built on a mountainside in Kissamos, at an altitude of 500 meters, and surrounded by a landscape of outstanding beauty, crossed by a small stream.

The 13 houses in the village are built from stone and wood on the ruins of older rural properties and have old furniture. A stay in Milia will introduce you to the philosophy of agrotourism as there is no electricity (the village has generators but only for lighting in winter). In addition, you will have the opportunity to get involved with farm work throughout your stay.

The village offers lessons in traditional cuisine. You can enjoy activities such as mountain biking, hiking along designated paths as well as excursions to nearby areas, including Elafonisi, Falassarna, Balos etc.
