Ninnolo –in the city of Chania you will find a store of the chain on the picturesque Potie Street in the Old Town– was established in the summer of 2011. A prior two year journey of research and tasting ingredients from around the world, from small farms and producers, enabled its owners to create an artisanal gelato without any colourings or additives.
The handcrafted and creamy Ninnolo gelato is produced on a daily basis using fresh Greek milk, without adding dairy cream, butter and eggs. The same philosophy applies to all the products you will find at Ninnolo stores: from the coffee (from a small producer of single origin) and the cookie you will get with it to the delectable desserts, cakes and savoury menu.
Some of the new flavours that you should definitely sample are the stunning Gelato di Fiore (rose shaped ice-cream in a cone), Pufflecone (ice-cream in a waffle cone) and Waffliterol (waffle-profiterole with gelato Ninnolo).
