Agios Georgios beach in the north west of Corfu is distinguished for the peace and quiet it offers to its visitors. The long, sandy stretch is surrounded by olive trees and cypress trees adding even more charm to the already beautiful and seductive landscape.
It has loungers, umbrellas and taverns so you will have everything, despite it being unscathed by the mass tourism on the island. A diving school operates during the summer months and it is possible to do water sports.
In the southern shore the water is shallow (in the northern shore it deepens suddenly), so it is ideal for families.
