Imagine a scenery with huge dunes of golden sand spreading over a large extent embraced by a beautiful cedar forest and turquoise waters inviting you to refreshing dips. Undoubtedly, it could be characterised as paradise.
However, it is only Issos beach, in the southern part of the island behind Korission Lagoon. Also known as "Sahara of Corfu", it features a beach bar, while it is organised with umbrellas and sunbeds.
The whole area of the beach is preserved and is included in the Natura 2000 network.
