Myrtiotissa beach is located in the west of the island, more or less in the middle, next to Glyfada beach. It might well be considered one of the most beautiful beaches on Corfu. To reach it by road, you have to drive about 18 km from Corfu town, park your car, and walk about another 1 km. Although access to the beach is a little difficult, the scenery is plenty rewarding for the slight inconvenience.
The cliffs, covered in wild vegetation, reach the crystal clear water of the Ionian Sea creating a landscape, imposing and impressive. This is one of the favourite beaches of nature lovers as well as nudist bathers. In fact, it is considered to be a major attraction for the latter.
