The successful concept of Nolita Athens based on serving sophisticated Italian cuisine was expanded to the cosmopolitan island of the Phaecians. Nolita Corfu, which matched perfectly Corfu’s temperament and finesse, is housed in a 17th century Venetian building and sets tables on the beautiful and ambient Dimarchiou square in the heart of the city.
The menu, supervised by the talented chef Giannis Liokas, follows the philosophy of the Athenian restaurant, focusing on “modern Italian cuisine that is inspired by cuisines from all over the world”. The chef’s persistence on the use of seasonal and exquisite raw ingredients is obvious in the menu’s suggestions, which are regularly renewed and include authentic Italian and very delectable dishes, as well as traditional local recipes with a twist
Some of the menu’s options that are noteworthy are the total black pizza, the tuna carpaccio, the fregola sarda (pasta from Sardinia) with cock pastitsada and the tuna with black rice and sautéed vegetables.
The amazing desserts, the refreshing cocktails and the excellent wines are ideal to complement your gastro experience.
Nolita Corfu operates from early April until late October.
