In the square of the preserved village of Palia Perithia, the homonymous tavern promises to offer you pleasant dining experiences based on the local, Corfiot cuisine, with views of the beautiful natural landscape of Pantokratoras Mountain.
The tavern Palia Perithia, operating since 1836, is a family business, which is immediately apparent from both the friendly service and the kitchen’s casseroles. Among the most popular choices of the guests is the famous pastitsada and the excellent sofrito, dishes based on traditional local recipes.
Note that the raw ingredients come from the garden of the owners, while most of the recipes date from the time of their grandparents. Do not leave the restaurant without trying the homemade walnut cake.
