The restaurant Agioneri, 500 metres south of Polygyros, was established in 1998 and is housed in a rustic structure, built according to local architectural standards.
Its menu is genuinely Greek with influences from ancient Greek cooking and the monastic cuisine of Mount Athos. All of the ingredients used in the dishes are fresh, strictly seasonal and supplied by local producers. Among the dishes, tzigerosarmas, pork in wine sauce with figs, plums and raisins, veal with hilopites, lamb with vegetables, Mount Athos-style codfish and wild boar stifado stand out.
The restaurant offers a spacious parking area and facilities for kids.
