Between Vourvourou and Sarti, on the peninsula of Sithonia, you'll find one of the most famous beaches in all of Halkidiki. We're talking about Kavourotrypes, which is well hidden after the end of the road, behind a dense pine forest.
It might be a little difficult to locate it as there are no signs. The coast is accessible by car to one particular point, but from then on you'll have to descend through the pine forest by foot. It's good to know that it's about 1km after Platanitsi on your way from Sarti. To reach this unique paradisal beach, turn right on to the first dirt road that you see.
This striking beach could very well be characterised as tropical, with its crystal clear, translucent water engulfing the spectacular rock formations dotting it.
