In addition to the famous beaches of Kassandra that most visitors choose for their summer holidays, at the first "leg" of Halkidiki you will come across several other, not that well-known, seashores, which are also worth visiting.
Starting from the western part of the peninsula and leaving Sani behind, you will find the sandy beach, the crystalline water, the beach bars and the fish taverns of Siviri, the natural beauty of the quiet Mola Kaliva, Nea Skioni, Paliouri (the beach Chrousso is the best known) and Glarokavos among the most lively choices.
Heading north along the eastern coast of the peninsula, a stop at the picturesque village of Chanioti is a must, while its beach offers a wide range of water sports facilities. Further up, you will discover the long sandy beach of Polihrono, followed by Kryopigi. Last but not least among the beaches in Kassandra is the sandy coast of Nea Fokaia, fully equipped with beach bars.
