The building, which was developed in 1863 by Nikolaos Verveniotis as sponge factory, was refurbished with respect for its history and converted into today's small, charming Bratsera Hotel.
Set in a secluded garden close the the port of Hydra, it is open 8 months a year. Each of its 25 rooms (suites, junior suites, superior and standard doubles) has its own style. They combine modern with retro elements and are distinguished by their white-washed walls and nautical memorabilia.
The hotel restaurant is the ideal choice for a romantic dinner by the pool and serves delicious Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. The venue is also available for wedding receptions, celebratory dinners and business dinners.
