Tsangaris patisserie, located in one of the back streets in Hydra town very close to the port, has been writing its own history since 1930 (open in this particular spot since 1970). The renowned local white macaroons flavored with rose water is one of its sought after sweets.
Apart from this, it is distinguished for its parfait and large gateaux. You can also buy treats, tray bakes and its famous ice cream. Holding the reins of the bakery -in particular the macaroons- is Anna, mother of the owner, Kyriakos Tsangaris, who can be found smiling behind the till.
