One of the most beautiful villages of the north side of the island, Agia Euphemia with its picturesque harbor offers the perfect setting for a carefree holiday. The small bay fills with sailboats every summer, while from the beautiful coast you can make out Ithaca and Sami.
Agia Euphemia (or Agia Thymia, as the locals call it) got its name from the white chapel located on the sea. It is 34 km from Argostoli and 9 km from Sami. You will find taverns, cafes, resorts as well as a diving school. Within walking distance you will find dozens of small pebble beaches, suitable for a quiet swim, while the location of the village is ideal for excursions in Sami, Myrtos, Assos and Fiskardo.
