One of the most notable new arrivals on the culinary map of the island lies in the village of Lakithra, 8 km. from Argostoli. En Kefallinia, which opened in August 2013 at an organic farm in the area, is the creation of two young people who wanted to offer authentic experiences of Greek cuisine.
All raw materials are extremely fresh. Vegetables, herbs and oil come from the estate, which has been certified by Biohellas, while meat and seafood arrives daily from the market of Argostoli.
Try the beef fillet with mavrodaphne liquor sauce from Kefalonia, as well as the fresh salmon fillet, served with pan-fried spinach and grilled vegetables.
