The cafe- bar O Milos tou Orlof is located on Mili beach, 2 km from the centre of the town of Lefkada. It has been operating since 1995 and it is housed on the first windmill built on the island in 1741.
The original name of the mill was Coffee-Windmill or Old-Windmill (Paliomilos), while in 1770, during the Orlov Revolt, it was named after Muscovite Orlov, chief of the Russian Powers. It functioned as a windmill until World War II, when it was used by the Italians as a gun emplacement.
O Milos tou Orlof is ideal for lounge moments, enjoying your coffee or drink overlooking the sea.
