Fully renovated and under new ownership, Lotus restaurant, one of the most historic restaurants of Mykonos, has been dynamically added in the culinary stopovers that you should enjoy on the island of the winds.
The menu represents the Mediterranean cuisine, with suggestions that tempt you every day, while its breakfast menu is also a must. From the latter, we strongly recommend the fried eggs with bacon and homemade French fries, the egg white tortilla with avocado, cherry tomatoes, baby spinach, carrots and katiki cheese from Domokos, as well as the monastery bread, horseradish (turnip), spring onion, smoked salmon with dill, lemon fillet & poached eggs.
As far as the menu, it is worth noting that part of it is dedicated to premium cuts with high quality meats, like kobe, wagyu and iberico cooked in an x-oven (the only one on the island), one of the more expensive ovens worldwide.
If you're not in the mood for meat, try the tagliatelle with fresh sea urchin and breaded tuna with black & white sesame seeds, quinoa & soy caramel.
Its excellent wine and cocktail list with Greek and foreign labels is definitely an asset, while it doesn’t lack in premium labels.
