Brand new arrival for all diners at Manto Square, in Chora of Mykonos. "Mama's cuisine" does not promote the mummy's kitchen you imagine (which to some extent has become a trend in the last years) but instead it represents something much more substantial and magnificent. What I mean is that here the "mother" and her dishes have to do with the quality of the raw ingredients which are always the finest. The rest of your experience surpasses by far our beloved mom. The presentation is remarkable, while the flavours are predominately those of the creative Mediterranean cuisine.
We love its meticulous exterior and interior, we included in its pluses the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and we were especially captivated by the American cooking and the Mediterranean aromas. "Mama's cuisine" brings out simplicity in the best way. It is not "chatty" and especially not tiring. The menu is as small and as large as it should be and can certainly satisfy all tastes.
Don’t forget to try the moussaka croquette which may be included in appetisers but it is still delicious. The menu also features fish and meat, risotto and pasta (the handmade ravioli is scrumptious).
If you belong to those whose palate is in a permanent search, then you must try the best seller dish with smoked salmon on cedar wood (smokes in front of you as served).
The wine list honours the Greek vineyard and is distinguished by its good pricing ratio. Specifically, the list has labels starting at €18.
