Transfer and Transport
To explore the largest island in the Cyclades you'll definitely be needing a mode of transport. If you don't wish to rent a car or other means of transport, there are the following options:
1) Buses: Starting from the main station next to the port of Chora, buses run to all the villages and beaches of Naxos, with an inexpensive ticket. During the summer season, schedules are enhanced to better serve the island's visitors. There are daily departures from the town to Agios Prokopios, Agia Anna, Apollonas, Apeiranthos, Moutsouna, Filoti, Chalki, Mikri Vigla, Plaka and other villages.
2) Taxi: Naxos has two main taxi ranks. One is situated at the port and the other at the airport.
