Kampos, one of the four settlements on the island, lies at a distance of 6 km. north of the port of Patmos, Skala. The main village is called Ano Kampos and the beach Kato Kampos.
The houses are built around the central square, where the Church of the Annunciation is located which dates back to 1937. In the picturesque square there are taverns serving homemade dishes and a cafe, where it is worth making a stop to enjoy your favorite beverage in a serene setting.
Descending from the square you will reach one of the most popular and crowded beaches of the island. The sand and pebble strewn beach is serviced with beach bars and taverns, and enables you to indulge in a wide range of marine activities.
