Agioi Saranta
Agioi Saranta

On the north-east part of Pelion, 47km from the centre of Volos, Agioi Saranta beach is named after the chapel found in the area.

The beach is on the Aegean sea, with fine sand and white pebbles. There are only a few beach umbrellas and chaise longues available. The blue, crystal clear waters are ideal for swimming away from the crowds.

The tall rocks behind the beach, the "monk" being the most characteristic one (it looks like a crouching monk) create a unique background that you will definitely capture with your camera.

You can easily get to the beach, through Makrirachi if you take the asphalt road.
