Giorgaras

Giorgaras taverna in Vizitsa, also known as the Giorgaras wine-mezes-clinic (treating all that is bad with wine and mezedes), is one of the oldest ones in the area. The menu features traditional, local cuisine dishes, all of them made with carefully selected, fresh ingredients.

The exohiko (lamb in grease-proof paper), aubergines souffle, kid in lemon sauce, peppers in tomato sauce with eggs, rooster giahni (in tomato sauce) or in wine sauce and the clay cooking pot (meat dish with vegetables and cheese) are some of the specialties on the menu.
