Meintani

Meintani taverna at Zagora, in the eastern part of Pelion, apart form the magnificent view of the mountains and the Aegean sea, is also famous for the dishes made with local recipes.

Local ingredients and products (some of them come from the taverna vegetable pot), local meats and fresh fish are turned into unique tasty creations in the hands of Mrs Niki who always uses traditional recipes.

Kleftiko (slowly roasted lamb) cooked in a clay pot, lamb stifado (with shallots), rooster in wine sauce and wild greens in tomato sauce with eggs are only some of the dishes you shouldn't miss.
