On the Aegean sea side, in the eastern part of Pelion, Mylopotamos stands out for the beautiful natural scenery that makes it one of the most famous beaches in Pelion.
Golden sand, white pebbles, turquoise waters (the beach has been awarded the blue flag for many consecutive years) are some of the reasons it is one of the visitors top choices. Bear in mind that you will have to climb down quite a few steps in order to get there.
As soon as you see Mylopotamos beach, your attention will be drawn to the imposing rock in the middle, which splits it in two. There are no beach umbrellas or chaise longues but you will find a beach bar and changing rooms.
Go to Tsagarada which is nearby for a meal after swimming.
