Tsagarada is located in the eastern part of Pelion, on the Aegean sea side, about 50km from Volos, and is yet another popular tourist destination.
With a combination of the mountain and the sea, it is an ideal choice for any time of the year. Tsagarada is amphitheatrical and offers a superb view of the Aegean sea, while it is surrounded by some of the most famous beaches in Pelion.
It has four districts, each with its own main square and church. The most popular one is Agia Paraskevi with the perennial plane tree, one of the oldest ones in the wider area being its trademark, while the Taxiarches square is also the oldest one. The third oldest one is the Agios Stefanos square. The Agia Kyriaki square is found in the southern part of Tsagarada.
There are mansions and buildings of traditional architecture, cobbled streets, traditional tavernas and beautiful guesthouses.
