With a name that brings exotic images of heavenly beaches and transparent waters to mind, Bali is a small fishing village, 33km east of Rethymno city centre.
It comprises 4 consecutive bays with sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. As you enter the village you will come across Livadi, the busiest beach of all with the most facilities. At the east end you can find the two Kouskouras bays, with no facilities and usually not very crowded, and as you move on you will see Varkotopos bay, a sandy beach with facilities. Bali beach is located by the village harbour, while at the end you will come across Karavostasis beach, the most beautiful one according to many people.
