47km southeast of Rethymno city, you will come across Rodakino village, just as you exit the steep gorge that goes down Kryoneritis mountain, between Plakias and Fragokastelo.
The gorge divides the village in two, Ano Rodakino and Kato Rodakino. The view from the village to the Libyan Sea is superb, while there are 3 beaches, ideal for swimming. As you exit the gorge you will see the first one with crystal clear waters and fine pebble, and you can admire the beautiful caves created in the rocks at the eastern part. There are beach umbrellas and chaise longues as well as various places to have a bite or a drink.
At the western side, on the way to Korakas, you will come across the second beach which is a small sandy and pebbled bay with facilities and crystal clear waters. The third beach has a rocky bottom -ideal for harpoon fishing- while it is a favourite choice among nudists due to the distance that separates it from the other two beaches.
