Casino Rodos and Grande Albergo delle Rose Hotel is one of the most iconic buildings not only of Rhodes but of Greece as well, with a long history that is of particular interest.

The hotel first opened its luxurious gates in 1927, as an architectural masterpiece the like of which had never existed throughout the Mediterranean attracting all the nobility of the era and personalities of the political, social and cultural life. It was given the name "Grande Albergo delle Rose" (Grand Hotel of Roses in Italian) because of its stunning garden, overgrown with colourful roses.

It featured the best that technology had to offer at the time, the finest and most elegant furniture from famous houses, while it had all the most sought-after comforts and amenities for its distinguished guests.

Above all, it housed a casino that officially opened in 1929, attracting the crème de la crème of wealthy gamblers from across the world.

It was fully renovated in 2002 in a 5* boutique hotel and re-opened its doors to its fine clientele to become until today one of the most recognisable and impressive buildings.

The hotel features 33 luxurious suites with breath-taking views of the city or the sea, each one decorated in its own style with discreet luxury, which takes the guest back in time.

And of course, one of the main reference points of the hotel still is its casino, the legendary Casino Rodos, that is known to attract celebrities and gamblers from around the world. Its premises extend across two floors and offer endless options of excitement like roulette, blackjack and poker, as well as a huge variety of slot machines.
