Elli

Elli is one of the most famous beaches on the island. It is located in Rhodes town and is the favorite choice for locals and visitors to the island of the Knights. What makes this beach famous is the fact that it has managed to retain some of the glamour and cosmopolitan essence that made it famous in the 1970s.

Characterized as ''the perfect beach in the Mediterranean'' by the English writer, Lawrence Durrel, it is organized and has umbrellas, loungers and there are various eating options along its length. The beach is sandy and preferred by the locals for a lunch time dip during their work break.
